The Talyllyn Railway has invited people to join a photo charter with No. 5 ‘Midlander’, marking the locomotive’s first such charter.

The charter begins at Tywyn Wharf station on the 14th March, where passengers will be taken back in time with Carriage 17 from the Corris Railway and Van 5.

The train will run between Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol with tipper waggons and a heritage van for the perfect photo and video opportunities.

Much more is also in store for the charter.

They have 30 spaces available, but enough bookings need to be made before the 28th February to ensure the ‘Photo CharTR’ goes ahead.

Tickets cost £50 per person and can be purchased on their website, along with more information about the service.
