At the end of January, a man was involved in an incident outside Liverpool Street Station and was left with a suspected stab wound.

An appeal has been launched for witnesses to help with their investigation.

The incident occurred around 2:30 pm on the 31st January, when a man was at a pub at the Bishopsgate entrance to the station, and another man became aggressive with him.

The victim led him away to avoid the situation worsening and boarded an Elizabeth Line train towards Abbey Wood.

While on board, the man realised he was bleeding from a wound on his torso.
