The Bure Valley Railway in Norfolk is starting its 2026 operating season with a series of Teddy Bear Expresses during February half-term.

Running four times each day between Saturday, 14th and Sunday, 22nd February, the trains will travel between Aylsham and Wroxham. The Teddy Bear Express follows the railway’s special trains over Christmas, including the Festive Express and the Mince Pie Special trains.

Steam locomotives will haul the trains, and during the journey, children can enjoy themed activities. At Aylsham, teddy bear decorations will adorn the station, and visitors can browse a model railway and gift shop. The Whistlestop Café will be open for refreshments and will also be selling Teddy Bear Lunch Boxes.

Children should remember to bring their favourite teddy along for the ride, as they are very important passengers on the Teddy Bear Express. Adults should not feel left out; they can bring their teddies as well.

Return Rover tickets cost £25 for adults, and two children aged up to 15 can travel free. Dogs are welcome, with tickets for dogs costing £4. Teddy Bear Lunch Boxes are available from the Whistlestop Café at Aylsham Station and cost £6.50.
