Next month, Network Rail will be carrying out a series of upgrades to bridge on the Inverclyde Line.
Work will be carried out from the 7th to the 10th February and again from the 14th to the 17th February.
In Greenock, engineers will replace sections of the walls with new concrete sections.
The bridge deck of the River Gryffe Bridge will be replaced, and steel will be used to strengthen it.
The steel support at Houston Road, Georgetown, will be repaired, and the steel and platform at Station Road in Langbank will be repaired and replaced.

The £4 million project will ensure the long-term future and reliability of the line; however, it will need to be closed during the work.
Replacement buses will be in place, and journeys can be checked online
“This work is part of our commitment to maintaining a railway that communities and visitors can continue to rely on.
“We’ve combined a number of essential projects into one single closure, avoiding the need for multiple periods of disruption over a longer timeframe.
“We’re grateful to passengers and local residents for their patience and understanding while we carry out these improvements.”
Ross Moran, route director at Network Rail Scotland
