Crewe Heritage Centre is looking forward to a season filled with events and new displays.

The Centre reopens on the 1st of April, where children can enjoy free admission all season, compared to the £6 per child last year.

Family favourites will also return this year, including the model railway, miniature railway, standard-gauge locomotives, historic signalling displays, the record-breaking APT-P, and the Crewe at War exhibition.

Free admission on Wednesdays during school holidays will also make a return as part of the Trust’s commitment to making heritage accessible.

The shop and cafe will also be open throughout the season.

“Crewe Heritage Centre is here for the community, and this year we’re bringing even more family‑friendly fun. Kids Go Free removes a barrier for families, and our team has been hard at work creating fresh displays and hands‑on interactives that bring Crewe’s story to life. Whether you’re a regular visitor or discovering us for the first time, there will be something new to explore on every visit.”

Gordon Heddon, Chair of Crewe Heritage Trust who run Crewe Heritage Centre
