The Epping Ongar Railway is hosting its Annual Steam Gala this April.

They have a very exciting lineup planned for the 17th-19th April.

They have now announced that their first locomotive will be 6989 Wightwick Hall, appearing in its red livery.

The locomotive has recently become very popular, or rather well known, due to its new role as the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter TV series.

Wightwick Hall will join their home fleet, including 4953 “Pitchford Hall”, to create a Great Western Workhorses theme.
