This month will see a seven-day closure of a road in Bletchley while surveys are carried out on a bridge ahead of its rebuild.

Saxon Street (B4034) will close from 7 am on the 12th January until the 18th January.

Before the bridge is replaced, essential ground investigation surveys and vegetation management need to be carried out to ensure the project can go ahead.

The surveys will allow designs to be finalised for the new bridge, which will allow for better connections which are more reliable.

During the closure, they will also take the time to refresh road markings.

Access will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists; however, motorists will have to follow the signposted diversion.
