Greater Anglia’s May timetable changes are set to improve services for the communities it serves.
The timetable comes into effect on the 17th May and means extra services for a range of routes, such as Cambridge to Ipswich during peak hours, extra morning services and evening services.
Earlier and later running services, including an earlier arrival into Lowestoft, some services will also make extra stops at stations to provide an hourly service.

The changes planned aim to handle increased passenger numbers across Greater Anglia’s route, as well as taking into account customer and stakeholder feedback.
A full list of these changes can be found on Greater Anglia’s website from the end of February.
“We are pleased to be able to announce an extensive range of service improvements on our regional routes this May. We are always working to refine and improve services across our network in line with local feedback, aspirations, and emerging demand.
“The positive impact of the introduction of our new trains has seen passenger numbers rise across our regional routes. We’re glad to be able to add in extra trains across a number of our routes from May, making rail travel even more attractive and convenient.”
