Inspiration, the Railway 200 exhibition train is set to make an appearance in Crewe tomorrow.
Pete Waterman is set to make an appearance on the 17th of January while it’s at Crewe, ahead of which he has added a new model to his record collection.
A new model version of Inspiration, measuring 76 times smaller than the life-size version, at just 209 cm long, is identical to the 159 metre version.
The new addition was created by Andrew Willsher, who spent 300 hours 3D printing custom parts, matching colour shades, and using tweezers to apply nearly 350 graphics.

Further information on Inspiration’s tour dates can be found here; more dates will be announced. If you are unable to visit in person, a virtual tour is available.
Tickets for its visit to Crewe can be found online.
“Railway 200 is about people, 200 years of people giving dedicated public service. Railway men and women have always gone beyond the call of duty.
“If you want a fantastic day out, nip down and see Inspiration. Best of all, it’s free – there’s some inspiration for you!”
Pete Waterman OBE

Hi Michael
You can search by station for upcoming tours and ECS movements here https://www.railadvent.co.uk/station-news-and-tours
We try and include as many of the Inspiration train movements as we can.
Thanks
