The Severn Valley Railway has said its brand new Santa Steam Specials are proving to be a huge success.

Visitors spend time in a winter wonderland before heading on a heritage train to Arley Station for the Great Christmas Train Rescue Show.

Some services are now fully sold out, with only limited space left on others.

The Santa Steam Specials featuring Polly the Polar Bear run on weekends and on Christmas Eve; more information is available on the SVR website.
