A yellow weather warning was issued overnight and remains in place throughout today (9th December), likely causing disruptions to train services.

Due to the expected conditions and flooding, Great Western Railway is running a reduced service.

Storms like this have caused issues on the line before, and they have worked on drainage in some areas over the past year.

The Storm Bram is expected to bring high winds, increasing the risk of fallen debris and trees, which could cause further disruptions.

While updates will be provided throughout today, they are encouraging people to change plans where possible and use their tickets on the 10th instead.

If the customer does not wish to travel, they can request a refund on their website.

Updates will also be issued on the GWRs journey checker.
