On the 20th December, rugby fans will be heading to Hampden Park for the 1872 Cup.
Fans can easily arrive for the 3 pm kick-off time, with extra trains running between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida.
These services will run before and after the match, with Mount Florida just a short walk away from Hampden.
Stations are expected to be busy, so ScotRail has advised that fans travel early, allow extra time, and factor in queuing systems, which will be in place at both stations.
The queuing systems will help make sure everyone gets on board safely, with extra staff also on hand to help things run smoothly.
“ScotRail is proud to support the 1872 Cup and help thousands of fans travel to Hampden for this historic match.
“We’re adding more services and more seats to make journeys as safe and comfortable as possible.
“Travelling by train is a convenient, reliable, and sustainable way to get to the game. To ensure a smooth experience, fans should plan ahead, allow extra time for travel, and buy their return tickets to Mount Florida in advance.”
