With their Santa Specials being a big hit, the Llangollen and Corwen Railway is reminding people to book ahead of their Mince Pie Specials.

The family-favourite steam train runs on the 27th, 28th and 30th December, giving passengers the chance to enjoy a trip with food and views.

They are promoting four local food venues along the railway, encouraging passengers to hop off the train and enjoy some food.

The promotion helps to create a complete day out while boosting the local area and the four businesses:

  • Glyndyfrdwy Railway Station – the Berwyn Arms
  • Berwyn Railway Station – the riverside Chainbridge Hotel
  • Carrog Railway Station – The Grouse
  • Corwen Railway Station – Owain Glyndŵr Hotel

Train tickets cost £26 per adult and £12 for children.

Passengers can then hop back on the train and take advantage of the flexible timetable.

For further information and to book tickets, customers can visit their website.

“Our Santa Specials are virtually sold out this year, but they are not the end of the Christmas season at the railway. Many families tell us they look forward just as much to our Mince Pie Specials, which offer a chance to unwind, enjoy the scenery and soak up the warmth of the festive season in a unique and memorable way. We are delighted to be championing some fantastic local food venues along the line this year, and we cannot wait to welcome passengers on board.”
