The last time the Railway 200 Inspiration train visited the North West, it was a sell-out success in Blackpool.
New dates have been announced for the interactive train tour, allowing those who missed an in-person visit to visit at four locations.
Across January, it will visit the Ribble Steam Railway (6th-9th), Southport (10th-13th), Crewe (15th-19th), and the East Lancashire Railway (21st-24th).

Some of these locations will require a small charge to access, but tickets to the train itself are free to book, which can be done online.
If you are unable to attend in person, don’t forget you can visit via the virtual tour.
“The Inspiration train is a fascinating way to learn about the past, present and future of rail. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re a rail enthusiast, student, or just curious about how this industry changed the world.
We’re excited to have the Inspiration train back in the North West, and we look forward to welcoming you aboard!”
Phil James, Network Rail north west route director
