This December is set to be filled with family-friendly festive events at the Talyllyn Railway.
They are running numerous special trains, including their Tinsel and Turkey Specials, The Carol Train, The Santa Specials, Festive Steam trains, and a brand-new event – The Spirit of Christmas.
Their Tinsel and Turkey event runs on the 6th and 13th December, where passengers can hop on board and enjoy a 2 or 3-course meal, with the train ride included in the price.
The trains run at 10:30 am and 2:10 pm, with the meals served at 1 pm.
Adults cost £46 for 2 courses or £52 for a 3-course meal, while children cost £16 or £20, respectively.
Next up on the calendar on the 20th December is The Carol Train.
With journeys beginning with mulled wine and mince pies, where passengers will travel to Abergynolwyn, where the carollers will begin.
The cafe will be open, and there will be a cash-only raffle with proceeds going to Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospice.
Tickets cost £15 for adults and £5 for children.

On the Santa Specials, families can meet Santa and receive a gift and a snack, with parents provided with some mulled wine.
Passengers can get their picture-perfect Christmas memory on the 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th December, with trains departing at 11 am and 2 pm.
Adults and children cost £22 each, with under 2s costing £7 each.
Travelling in style during the festive season is something for the grown-ups – their Spirit of Christmas trains.
Passengers can enjoy an afternoon tea experience while travelling in style on board the decorated, heated train.
Trains depart at 12 pm, and tickets cost £40 per adult.
Finishing off the season is their Festive Steam trains, which depart three times a day from the 26th December to the 3rd January.
