During December, Dovetail Games is running a ’Season of Reveals’ that features updates and reveals for Train Sim World from its own teams and third-party development partners.

Included in the reveals are weekly giveaways, in-game rewards, and live events where its teams will reveal more about what is coming.

For this year, the usual roadmap is being replaced with three weekly “drops” across the month, with the first last Monday, 1st December, and the others on Mondays, 8th and 15th December.

On Tuesdays, there will be Discord Q&As, competitions every Wednesday, Dovetail livestreams every Thursday and Friday, and free-to-enter giveaways on Fridays and over the weekends.

The first Reveal was last Monday with the Rhein-Niers-Bahn: Duisburg – Mönchengladbach route from FolezzWorld, a new partner for Dovetail Games. The route is over 100 years old, and has large stations in big cities, as well as beautiful scenery, open fields and foliage.

Freight fans will be delighted, with its strong emphasis on freight operations around the Chempark area, and the increasingly industrial area around the historic Hochfelder Eisenbahnbrücke.

As well as the Reveals, a new patch for TSW is being released this week with improvements to the Birmingham-Crewe route, core updates to German TSRs, and a link to the Train Sim World Winter 2025 Survey. That follows the release at the end of November of a Class 142 Pacer Add-on for Train Sim World 6 in Transport for Wales livery.
