A new video has been released on our YouTube channel where we take an Avanti West Coast Pendolino for a drive between Crewe and Birmingham New Street.

We have previously shown a stopping service on this new route, but its now time to show an express service.

Before departure, we have a look around Crewe station to take in the busy and detailed station.

We then depart and make our way to Stafford, where we make an unscheduled stop to have a look at the station and take in quite a busy section of line with lots of AI trains.

We then make our way to Wolverhampton and onto Birmingham New Street.

There is plenty of bright blue skies and sunshine which makes for a lovely drive on this new route.
