Extra train services are being run this Sunday ahead of the Wales v Argentina Rugby match at the Principality Stadium.

Six additional services will run into Cardiff ahead of the match, and along with existing trains, will mean that 14,500 seats will be available to book.

However, Great Western Railway are reminding passengers to book seats in advance as all trains will be reservation-only.

And then, once the final whistle goes at around 17:00, five additional trains will run to keep queues moving and to ease congestion at Cardiff Central.

During the afternoon and the evening, 22 trains will run to provide 11,000 seats to get fans home.

A queueing system will be placed at Cardiff Central with services provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with reservations not required for the journey home.

Transport for Wales is also running extra trains for the game, including both before and after the game.

“We’re delighted to support these autumn international fixtures at the Principality Stadium, helping as many people as possible watch the finals – and proving that train is the very best way to travel.

“While we run additional services to cater for everyone who wants to travel, these are expected to be busy immediately before and after the matches, so plan ahead, check your journey beforehand and bear in mind if you are travelling to Cardiff on Sunday morning, you’ll need to reserve a seat.”
