Those looking to attend the different Yorkshire Christmas Markets can do so this festive season for just £2.

Those heading to Harrogate, Skipton, Scarborough, Halifax, and Knaresborough can access the offer, with adults travelling on selected routes for £2 and children for £1.

Markets include the Scarborough Sparkle, Knaresborough Christmas Market, The Piece Hall Christmas Market in Halifax, Harrogate Christmas Fayre, and Skipton Christmas Market.

These offer tickets can be bought at least three days before travel from Northern’s website, app, ticket vending machines and ticket offices.

Further information about the tickets can be found online – click here to visit the Northern website.

“To help everyone get into the festive spirit this year, we’re offering cheap fares so customers can travel to some of the brilliant traditional Christmas markets across Yorkshire.

“We know how popular the big cities can be, so we wanted to do something to shine a light on the fantastic markets and events in the smaller towns we serve.

“We hope these great ticket prices will leave our customers with a little extra money to spend at the stalls. They can also avoid all the stress that comes with sitting in traffic and searching for a parking space during these busy events.

“There are only a limited number of these discounted tickets available, so we’re encouraging customers to book now to avoid missing out.”

Alex Hornby, Northern’s customer and commercial director
