Transport for London (TfL) has launched a free prize draw with a host of once-in-a-lifetime gifts to mark the end of its 25th anniversary year.

A range of festive gifts can be won, which give winners the chance to enjoy one of London’s popular Christmas attractions. Among the attractions are boat and bus tours, ice skating and theatre trips, a champagne experience on the IFS Cloud Cable Car, and monthly passes for Santander Cycles.

To enter the draw, entrants should visit tfl.gov.uk/TfL25Xmas before midnight on Sunday, 7th December, and share what they love about London during the festive period, as well as the gift they would like to win. Entries can also be submitted by post, with details on TfL’s website.

Free festive events can be enjoyed across London this winter, including a festive treasure hunt from 15th December to 2nd January on the Docklands Light Railway, starting at Tower Gateway, and with clues at nine stations along the line. Free festive carols can also be enjoyed by the DLR platforms at Canary Wharf station each afternoon from 8th to 12th December.

The gifts on offer in the draw include some suitable for all ages, including:

• A pair of tickets for Big London Bake East in Haggerston.
• Four tickets for Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story at the Alexandra Palace Theatre.
• A pair of tickets for a Christmas lights afternoon tea sightseeing bus tour.
• A two-course lunch for two on a river cruise.
• Family of four VIP tickets for Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular at London’s Earls Court.
• Four VIP tickets for the spectacular Elvis Evolution and four VIP tickets for the FAME*FACTORY.
• A pair of tickets to discover the closed-off parts of Green Park station.
• Four tickets for the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.
• A pair of tickets for a Champagne Experience on the IFS Cloud Cable Car.

Other events during TfL’s 25th anniversary year included a competition for children to record public address announcements and go behind the scenes of the network.
