Following its recent sell-out success at Blackpool North, the Railway 200 Inspiration Train is heading to the West Somerset Railway next.
Inspiration will be open between the 24th and 29th November at Bishops Lydeard station.
The exhibition train has toured multiple locations and is making its final November stop here before concluding its year with three stops in December.
Since its launch in June, people have been jumping at the chance to visit the unique trains’ four interactive carriages, including Railway Firsts and Wonderlab on Wheels.

Entrance to the train is free; however needs to be booked in advance online.
If you can’t make it to the inspiration before the end of the 2025 tour, future dates are being announced for 2026, with a virtual tour also available online.
Other exciting events are also happening at the railway, including having the Gauge Museum at Bishops Lydeard station open, a special shuttle train on the 25th and 28th November, a Christmas Market train on the 29th November, and special plans in the works for the 50th anniversary next year.
Events at the railway can be booked on their website.
