Dovetail Games has announced that a new Add-on for Train Sim World in The Cargo Line series from Skyhook Games will be released next Tuesday, 18th November.
The new release, Volume 5: Nuclear, simulates the movement of radioactive nuclear material up and down two stretches of the West Coast Main Line with a modernised Class 20 locomotive and the unique flask wagons used for hauling this high security cargo.

Class 20/3s as used in this scenario were operated by Direct Rail Services (DRS) from its depot at Carlisle Kingmoor for the transport of nuclear fuel to the Sellafield nuclear site.
Based on their appearance in 2003, this Add-on features WIPAC headlights, a modernised cab with NRN and GSM-R equipment (although this is non-functional), a nuclear panic button, and removal of the locomotive’s headcode discs. It also includes an FNA-D nuclear flask wagon, which is new to Train Sim World.
Cargo Line Volume 5 depicts nuclear services and scenarios over the West Coast Main Line between Preston and Carlisle, and between London and Milton Keynes.
Between Preston and Carlisle, there are three scenarios and 14 timetabled services, representing trains from the Sellafield nuclear site for in-game services from Carnforth to Preston, Carnforth to Carlisle, Morecambe to Preston, and Morecambe to Carnforth originating at Heysham Harbour.
Class 47 locomotives featured in the route Add-on operate these services, and the train formations include the FNA-D wagons sandwiched between Mk.1 BG coaches.
From London to Milton Keynes, there are two scenarios and four timetabled services originating from the Sellafield and Dungeness nuclear sites for services between Willesden Junction and Milton Keynes and between Bletchley and Willesden Brent Sidings.

The Nuclear train services that Rivet Games’ Tyler plans to incorporate into its Riviera Line timetable will also be available for use with Cargo Line Volume 5.
To provide acceptable performance for the new Add-on, the spread of other trains running around has been reduced for players using PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; the reduction in performance does not apply to PC, Xbox S/X or PlayStation 5 versions.
The release price of Cargo Line Volume 5 for Train Sim World 6 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 is £12.99 and will be available from Epic Games Store and Steam.
