Dovetail Games is joining in the Black Friday trend with a 40% saving on the normal price with a Train Sim World 6: Special Edition for Xbox.

As well as all the brand-new routes and trains included in the Standard and Deluxe Editions are extra routes available in the back catalogue.

Included in the Train Sim World 6: Special Edition are the new Morristown Line, New Jersey Transit Arrow III, and ALP-45DP locomotive from the USA, the new Riviera Line in south Devon, Great Western Railway (GWR) Class 802, and CrossCountry Voyager from the UK, and the new Leipzig to Dresden route, DB BR 411 ICE-T, and DB BR 294 locomotive from Germany.

Other routes included are the Semmeringbahn in Austria, Zwolle to Groningen in the Netherlands, the Cardiff City Network in Wales, the Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn in Germany, MBTA Commuter lines in the USA.

There are also new platforms and passenger announcements, new train faults and random events that are toggleable, an updated layer selector, improvements to passengers, a training centre, and a selection of locomotives.

Alongside the real-life prototypes at August’s ‘Greatest Gathering’ at Alstom’s works at Derby, Dovetail Games hosted a display of Train Sim World for the public to view and enjoy.
