The Isle of Man Railways have chosen six names for new bay filly foal, and the public now has their chance to vote for their favourite.
The word Bay is horse speak for ‘brown’ and is the right hand horse in the photo above.
All of the names have significance to the history of the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, or to the staff members that operate the tramway.
The Tramway celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2026, and the public are invited to vote for their favourite name before the voting closes at the end of October.
