West Coast Railways has announced that they have had to cancel the Jacobite steam train due to expected severe weather.
Network Rail has announced that, due to expected severe weather conditions in Scotland, no trains can operate between 6 pm on Friday, 3rd October, until Saturday evening.
This means that The Jacobite has been cancelled on the 4th of October.
Passengers will be contacted via email regarding the cancellation.
Due to severe weather conditions expected across Scotland over the next coming days, Network Rail have announced that no train services will be permitted to operate from 18:00hrs on Friday 3rd October until Saturday evening. Unfortunately, this means that the Jacobite service on Saturday 4th October is cancelled. All passengers have been contacted – please check your emails for details.
