Ahead of the October holidays, ScotRail has launched a Family Pass to help make travel more affordable.

The pass, costing £50, allows for 1 week of unlimited travel across Scotland for up to two adults and four children.

The offer covers the school holidays, and the ticket is valid to start between the 13th and 20th October.

The ticket can be purchased between the 6th and 20th October from ScotRail ticket offices or on the train.

Compared to travelling by car, the ticket offer is much cheaper and more convenient, allowing passengers to relax and enjoy the scenery.

For inspiration on how to use the ticket, passengers can visit ScotRail’s Hub.

“The Family Pass is designed to make it easier for families to enjoy days out together during the school holidays.

“For £50, customers can travel as much as they like for seven days, giving them the chance to explore Scotland in an affordable and sustainable way.

“Travelling by train remains one of the most convenient ways to get around, and with this offer, we hope to see many more people choose ScotRail.
