London North Eastern Railway has released tickets ahead of their timetable change on the 14th December.

Tickets have been released for travel between 14th December and 2nd January, allowing customers to plan ahead and get the best value tickets through their website and app.

Some of their most popular routes will see prices starting from:

  • London King’s Cross <> Edinburgh – £48.90
  • London King’s Cross <> Leeds – £26.90

The timetable alteration will see a change in departure times to account for nearly 10,000 new services per year, which means more than 60,000 extra seats on each route per week.

Those who book direct with LNER can select a seat, receive live updates on their journey, and won’t be charged a booking fee.

Further information on their timetable alterations and to book tickets, please visit the LNER website.

“We know many of our customers eagerly anticipate the opportunity to plan their festive travel. We are delighted that this year they will have even more choice with tickets going on sale today in preparation for our new December timetable. More services will mean more seats, quicker journeys and even more great value fares for our customers.”

David Flesher, Commercial Director at LNER
