Ahead of next year’s Valentine’s Day, Lappa Valley have produced a song.

The song named “Rolling Through Lappa With You” was produced as a present for the 13 locomotives at the railway.

They used AI to write and produce the song, initially releasing a shorter version. However, following positive feedback, they have released a full version of the song.

They released the shortened version of the song on their social media in February, which quickly became a hit with their fans.

The song can be found on streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Amazon Music and can even be played through an Amazon Echo.

The full version of the song will also be eligible to be included in the official UK charts

“We have thirteen locomotives across three railways here at Lappa Valley, and we’re incredibly fond of them all as are thousands of Lappa fans. Each engine has their own personality, and every Valentine’s Day we like to do something to show them how we feel

“However, we’re train drivers with oily and sooty hands; not prolific romantics. That’s why we turned to AI to write and produce us a song to show our feelings.”

“The video has had over 30,000 views, and we had feedback from lots of Lappa fans about how much they enjoy listening to the song. That’s why we decided to release it as a single, and make it easier for people to listen to.”
