The Railway 200 ‘Inspiration’ train has been to numerous locations this month, including The Greatest Gathering as its first stop of the month and ending the month at the National Railway Museum in York.
The past, present and future train will be heading for Darlington next.

It will remain at Darlington station for a week, starting from the 10th September until the 17th September.
Those visiting can get hands-on in the ‘Wonderlab on Wheels’ exhibition and learn about the past, present, and future of railways and the innovative ideas within them.

Further information on Inspiration’s future stops can be found here.
Tickets can still be booked for Darlington online.
“We’re delighted to welcome Inspiration to Darlington Station, a special location steeped in railway history. The free exhibition has something for everyone, taking visitors on a 200-year journey of discovery and ingenuity. It also provides an exciting glimpse into the future of rail and the opportunities available to shape the next 200-years.”
