Greater Anglia has installed a bleed control kit at Lowestoft station.
The life-saving equipment has been installed thanks to partnership funding from the Heart 2 Heart charity and MJ Training.
The kits, which include a tourniquet, rapid gauze, gloves, trauma dressings and a light, are designed to deal with extreme bleeding.
The kit installation is also part of a bigger project, funded by the East Suffolk Council Enabling Communities Fund, money raised in memory of Raymond James Quigley and donations from councillors in the area.

The specialised kit can be found inside the already existing defibrillator case, which was installed in memory of Ronnie Dell.
Both pieces of life-saving equipment will be maintained by Wherry Line CRP and Lowestoft Central Project volunteers.
To access either piece of equipment in an emergency, ambulance control staff can provide callers with access, providing treatment before medics arrive.
“We welcome the addition of a bleed control kit to the station defibrillator cabinet. Having these potentially lifesaving facilities available in such a busy location is very important.”
Jacqui Dale, from the Wherry Lines Community Rail Partnership and Lowestoft Central Project
