Following its usual practice of helping fans heading to Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh for special events, ScotRail is running extra late-night trains for the upcoming Oasis Live 25 concerts.

Three huge shows are being performed at the stadium by the iconic Manchester band tomorrow, Friday, 8th August, Saturday, 9th August, and Tuesday, 12th August.

Fans heading to Oasis Live 25 at Scottish Gas Murrayfield are being encouraged to travel by train as ScotRail is putting on extra late-night services and more seats to help music-lovers travel to and from the gigs in comfort.

With the concerts taking place at the same time as the Edinburgh Festival, ScotRail has already implemented an enhanced timetable, but will be adding more services and capacity specifically for concertgoers. These will give customers greater flexibility in travelling to the concerts, and help their night out go smoothly.

After each show, late-night trains will operate to key destinations. Including Glasgow Queen Street, Dundee, Perth, and Dunblane. Haymarket railway station is close to Scottish Gas Murrayfield stadium, being is just a short walk or tram ride away, making train travel an easy and convenient option from across Scotland. The stadium doors will be open from 16:00.

After the concerts, to manage crowds safely and efficiently, a designated holding area will be in place on Haymarket Terrace, where customers will be directed to the appropriate queue for their train home before they enter Haymarket station. Extra ScotRail staff will be available to assist customers and make sure everything runs smoothly. Customers are advised to buy their return tickets before they travel via the ScotRail app, online, at a ticket office, or from a self-service ticket machine.

“With just a few days to go until the highly-anticipated Oasis gigs at Murrayfield, we’re really looking forward to helping fans travel to what promises to be an unforgettable series of shows. W’ ve got more trains running throughout the Edinburgh Festivals, and we’re adding late-night services for the gigs themselves to help fans make the most of the occasion. We re encouraging everyone to plan their journey in advance, make the most of the extra services, and soak up the atmosphere of a great night in the capital.”
