Black Country Innovative Manufacturing Organisation, who operate the Very Light Rail National Innovation Centre in Dudley, has fallen into administration.
RSM UK Restructuring Advisory LLP were appointed administrators on the 1st July 2025.
The Very Light Rail centre was home to the Coventry VLR vehicle until it left recently to start testing in Coventry itself.
This is a sad time, as RailAdvent only recently had the chance to visit our friends at BCIMO to see what projects were being completed. You can have a read at our article here.
We are waiting to hear what this means for the future of Dudley’s Very Light Rail Innovation Centre, and any updates will be posted here.
