A new wine tasting experience called ‘The Wine Line’ has been launched by The Watercress Line.
The exclusive experience sees specialist wines and food meet heritage steam travel.
The experience will run on the 26th July, with a secondary one planned for the 20th September.
Guests can enjoy wine, food and talks all while travelling through the Hampshire countryside.
The special service is being held in partnership with The Naked Grape and Louis Pommery, offering 5 different wines while being guided through the tasting by experts.
Experts will be talking about the characteristics and stories behind each of the wines. A welcome drink will be served at Alresford station before passengers travel on the first-class dining coaches.

Passengers will not only be greeted with wine, but onboard they will receive a charcuterie board and a dessert course.
The event is planned to begin at 6 pm, returning to Alresford around 10:40 pm.
Tickets are for 18+ only and cost £125 per person and includes everything above.
Booking and further information can be found on The Watercress Line’s website.
“We’re thrilled to launch ‘The Wine Line’ – a celebration of fine wine and locally sourced food on board one of our historic steam trains. Guests can look forward to relaxing on board with delectable food which pairs perfectly with the wine selection, while travelling through stunning Hampshire countryside.
“With just two exclusive dates on 26 July and 20 September, spaces are limited and expected to sell out quickly, so please book ahead.”
