To encourage people to travel by train, ScotRail has added additional late-night services to help people get back home.
Extra trains will run on the following routes:
- Argyle Street to Motherwell.
- Bridgeton to Garscadden.
- Glasgow Central to East Kilbride.
- Glasgow Central to Gourock.
- Glasgow Queen Street Low Level to Edinburgh Waverley via Bathgate.
- Glasgow Central to Edinburgh Waverley via Shotts.
Several city centre stations are within a 20-minute walk of Glasgow Green, including Glasgow Central and Argyle Street.
Attendees should plan their trip ahead of time and leave extra time, as trains will be busy. They have also advised that passengers buy tickets in advance to help make journeys run smoothly.
