Network Rail has provided advice for those travelling to Oasis on the 11th, 12th, 16th, and 19th July.
Temperatures are set to rise during the series of sold-out shows at Heaton Park, reaching 31c over Friday and Saturday.
Passengers are being urged to plan ahead, allow extra time and prepare for the heat.
Large crowds are expected, so passengers should make sure that they stay hydrated and check services in case hot water has caused any delays.
Additionally, passengers should leave extra time to avoid having to run for trains.
300,000 people are set to attend the shows; however, it is unknown how many will actually travel by train, but a queuing system will be in place to keep people safe.
Further information on services and journey planning can be found online.
“The Oasis concerts at Heaton Park are going to be electric, and we have good plans in place to make people’s journeys through Manchester Piccadilly as smooth as possible.
“Don’t look back in anger, plan your journeys carefully. Allow extra time for your journey and do not rely on the last trains as we’re expecting them to be extremely busy.
“We now know it will be very hot on 11 and 12 July. I’d urge passengers to make sure they have plenty of time to catch their train and bring water on their journey. We’ll do everything we can to keep you safe, but please look after yourself when travelling on the rail network in hot weather.”
Margaret Edge, Manchester Piccadilly’s station delivery manager
