The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is celebrating summer by launching two new offers which will allow more people to travel on the railway.
The offers will be running from the 13th June until the 24th September and include Kids Go Free (ages 4-15) on standard services and up to 30% off advanced booking.
Families can enjoy savings when they book in advance, from 10% off on bookings 4-7 days ahead, 20% off 8-13 days ahead and 30% off on 14 or more days ahead.

The offers will run across the railways’ peak season, where they run all seven days of the week with heritage steam and diesel hauling passengers through the remarkable Yorkshire scenery.
They offer a range of options for visitors, whether they spend the whole day there or make just one trip.
There’s something for everyone, from heritage locomotives and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park to Goathland Station, which is well known for featuring in the Heartbeat TV series and as Hogsmeade in Harry Potter.

There will also be several railway-themed activities to keep visitors busy as part of the line’s Railway 200 celebrations. This includes the 200 Mile Challenge and the Railway 200 Writing and Art Competition.
Ticket prices, timetable and booking information can be found on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway’s website.
“We know that families are looking forward to the summer holidays and this summer it pays to plan ahead for fantastic days out at the NYMR. We want to share the magic of the railway with families from all over to experience everything we have to offer. Whether it’s a child’s first train ride or a return visit for a family favourite, our new offering gives everyone more reason to step onboard.”
Laura Strangeway, CEO at the NYMR
