An award achieved entirely through public votes has been given to the Kent and East Sussex Railway.
On the 11th June, Robin Coombes, the railway’s general manager, collected their Muddy Stilettos Award, for which the railway won Best Family Experience in Kent last month.
A ceremony was held at Chapel Down Vineyard in Tenterden, and as the winners of this award, the railway can go on to the finals.
The Muddy Stilettos Editors will be judging the ‘Best of the Best’ for each of their categories, which will be announced later this month.
This award adds to the railway’s growing list of accolades, including those from TripAdvisor.
