Emergency services are dealing with an incident between York and Darlington / Middlesbrough.

All lines are now closed to allow them to do their work, and means trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Major disruption is expected until 15:30 on the 30th June 2025.

North Yorkshire Police say that they are attending an incident at Northallerton railway station and have advised people to find alternative travel routes.
