This acquisition was set in motion to ensure the BMR’s long-term future.

The merger was designed to secure the legacy of Tony Hills and Peter Rampton, who were business partners and built the BMR. By sharing resources, they will see increased financial benefits and make the two railways more efficient.

Additionally, due to the expanding operations, there will be new job openings, and they will be able to enhance visitor experiences across both railways.

The two railways will continue as separate entities but will work in unison.
