ScotRail trains between Aberdeen and Glasgow on Saturday (24 May) will have additional carriages for fans travelling to the Men’s Scottish Cup Final.
Aberdeen will take on Celtic at Glasgow’s Hampden Park stadium in the match, which kicks off at 15.00.
The operator says that key routes in and out of Glasgow will have more seats than usual. It will also run more trains between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida / Kings Park – the closest stations to Hampden Park.
The additional capacity will be available both before and after the game.

Similarly to its arrangements for previous major events – such as last year’s final and this year’s semi-finals last month – queuing systems will be in operation.
ScotRail is asking Aberdeen fans to queue for services to Mount Florida via the carriage drive on Hope Street. It is asking Celtic fans to queue for services to Kings Park via the main concourse inside Glasgow Central Station.
The operator is also advising fans to make their way back to the station after the match promptly. Queuing systems will be in operation at Kings Park for Celtic supporters and Mount Florida for Aberdeen fans.

There may also be a queuing system operating at Aberdeen station for the journey to the match, and at Glasgow Queen Street station after the game.
ScotRail is also encouraging fans to buy return tickets in advance, as this will reduce queuing on match day.
ScotRail will deploy additional staff at stations to help passengers.
It is reminding passengers that they will not be allowed to carry or consume alcohol on ScotRail trains and stations.
“We’re looking forward to helping fans travel to Hampden for what’s set to be an exciting Scottish Cup Final.
“To support the large numbers expected to attend, we’re adding more seats and running extra services to and from the stadium.
“Queuing systems will be in place at Glasgow Central to make sure everyone gets to the match safely, so we encourage fans to plan ahead, leave plenty of time for travel, and buy their return tickets in advance to avoid queues.”
