In 2023, Liverpool was the host city for Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine.
To mark the two year anniversary, with the return of Eurovision this year, there has now been a plaque unveiled honouring the partnership.
The plaque has been put up at Liverpool Lime Street, which welcomed thousands of fans who attended the show.

Attendees of the show were greeted with a welcoming party of dancers, drummers and drag queens.
The plaque will sit in the station museum for all to see for years to come.
“The plaque commemorates a significant moment in the city’s history, one that united art, culture and solidarity.
The railway industry played a crucial part in welcoming visitors from all over the world to Liverpool, and this plaque, which was beautifully designed by one of our station colleagues, ensures we can preserve and cherish that memory for years to come.”
Phil James, Network Rail’s North West route director
