£500 will be going to the 1305 Oxted Thumper Gang and their restoration of Oxted DEMU 1305 ‘Brighton Royal Pavilion’.

The other £500 will be heading to Horsted Keynes station and its restoration team, Friends of Horsted Keynes.

The amount was raised predominantly from the Kiosk on platform 4. The donation came from everyone who bought exclusive souvenirs, art by Matthew Cousins, books and model railway items.

To further their support of the railways projects they are stocking a small collection of items from the Fenchurch Fund, 1305 Thumper Gang and Bluebell Railway Goods Division in the shop.

The shop welcomes any railway-themed donations, from books and DVDs to pictures and keyrings.

They ask if you have any donations that you can email them at [email protected]
