Transport for Greater Manchester are advising passengers to plan ahead as trams are suspended on parts of the Metrolink due to a power outage.
An amended service will be in operation until further notice, with services operating on the following routes:
- Bury – Victoria
- Rochdale – Victoria (Shaw & Crompton service withdrawn)
- East Didsbury – Firswood
- Manchester Airport – Firswood
- Altrincham – Old Trafford
- Trafford Park – Wharfside
- Eccles – MediaCityUK
The Ashton Line has been fully suspended, with ticket acceptance in place on Bee Network Buses as well as trains between Ashton, Manchester Airport, Eccles (Manchester) and Altrincham.
