Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway (GWSR) have announced their final three visiting steam locomotives for their upcoming Gala.
Their Cotswold Festival of Steam Gala will take place on the 24th- 26th May.
Already joining their home locomotives include 34072 257 Squadron, 75069, and SECR OI No. 65.
Now joining them are 1906 Borrows 0-4-0WT works no. 48 ‘The King’.
1918 Borrows / Kerr-Stuart 0-4-0WT works no. 3036, also known as ‘Willy the Well Tank’. This locomotive is usually based on the Swindon and Cricklade Railway.
This locomotive along with ‘The King’ will be visiting courtesy of Bill and Dick Parker of the Flour Mill.

Lastly Andrew Barclay ‘Austerity’ 0-6-0ST no. 15 Earl David (works no. 2183) will be joining the other locomotives at the Gala.

The Gala will celebrate 200 years of passenger rail travel and everything that’s great about railways.
