The has announced two visitors for it upcoming Diesel Gala, set to take place between the 12th and 15th June 2025.

The first visitor is No. 55009 Alycidon, which will visit thanks to The . Alycidon is an ECML thoroughbred, known for hauling express services between London and Edinburgh.

Next up will be No. 50021 Rodney, appearing thanks to 50021 Owners Ltd and will mark the first time since 1983 that the locomotive has hauled a passenger train in .

The 50 and 55 will join 37264, 47077 North Star, 31128 Charybdis and others to operate an intensive timetable.
