Moving to Tyseley, where 5164’s overhaul has started. The bunker and the cab roof are being removed to allow the life-expired bunker to be sent to the 4253 Locomotive Company, which has been contracted to build a new one.
A kit of parts for the new bunker has been delivered to a contractor for shot blasting and spray priming before being shipped to the 4253 Group for fabrication.
