Rail Gourmet workers at TransPennine Express have accepted a 10% pay rise.

76% of voters voted in favour of the deal, which includes a 10% pay rise for Customer Hosts, Customer Service Assistants and Team Leaders (backdated to 1st November 2024).

Also included were no additional productivity conditions and a set pay anniversary date of 1st April each year.

RMT General Secretary Mick Lynch welcomed the win and praised members for their steadfast determination to achieve such a significant deal.

He said: “This result proves that the power of collective action yields results.

“Our members stood firm and secured a well-earned 10% pay rise, no strings attached deal.

“RMT will always fight for fair pay and conditions across the industry at all grades.
