To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Pecorama at Beer in Devon is giving away 50 pairs of tickets throughout the month of March and half-price tickets for the 2025 season.
Pecorama, perched high on a hillside above the picturesque fishing village of Beer, is the home of the renowned Beer Heights Light Railway, which is considered by many to be the finest 7¼ inch-gauge railway in Britain.
The attraction opens for the 2025 season on Tuesday, 1st April, and the 50 pairs of free tickets will be up for grabs until the end of March from Tourist Information Centres in Seaton, Sidmouth, and Exmouth.
Each ticket will be valid for two people on any day of the 2025 season, but to be in with a chance to win, participants must mention a specific word or phrase that will be posted on the social media channels of Pecorama and Seaton, Sidmouth, and Exmouth Tourist Information Centres.
As well as the 50 pairs of free tickets, all visitors to Pecorama throughout 2025 will benefit from half-price tickets. The offer is a special thank you to all visitors to the attraction over the 50 years since it opened and to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Along with the Beer Heights Light Railway, Pecorama is the home of the famous PECO brand of model railways, one of the last major model railway production facilities left in the UK.
It also has an excellent model railway exhibition and model shop that is designed to inspire modellers by demonstrating a variety of practical small layouts with an impressive amount of detail.

PECO has recently added to its range of models with a TT:120 Gauge seven-plank open wagon in the livery of Franks and Co of Guildford for the Kernow Model Rail Centre at Camborne in Cornwall.
“We very much hope this offer will be well received by all visitors to Devon, as well as local residents, and help give families a saving on a day out, at a time when everything is costing more than before. This offer applies to online ticket sales only, so be sure to look out for the special offer codes on leaflets, advertising and the company’s website.”
