Witness appeal after trespass caused £500,000 of delay minutes to London trains

Police are appealing for witnesses after a trespass incident cost Network Rail over £500,000 in delay minutes.

On the 16th January 2025, a man entered Hendon station and proceeded to climb onto the railway tracks and walk towards Mill Hill Broadway.

The incident, which happened around 2.20pm, caused 16 trains to be fully cancelled and 54 trains to be part cancelled, resulting in over £500,000 worth of delay minutes.

The man has been described as mid-40s, average built, short brown thinning hair.
