A new video from Francis Bourgeois highlights the severity of the landslip at the Severn Valley Railway.
Francis has visited the site of the landslip to see how bad the damage is.

Felt I had to respond. Incredibly rude comments about Francis. He seems a really likeable man who loves his railways – he is well known in railway circles and if his involvement raises the awareness of the issues and money for SVR who is going to complain ?
I honestly do not why I loathe him. When he grew popular on TikTok, he turned a the fairly quiet hobby of Trainspotting into a big thing – people from news channels and social media would spend time trainspotting with him and it kinda ruined the fun for me.. Then he got that partnership thing with Gucci and I started hating him more. He could have said no and walked away but no he had to do it for the money. Have you seen his Girlfriend? she looks like she doesn’t now what addition is and clearly is a Goldminer.
Obviously driving round spotting trains and purchasing tickets for travel is all free of charge. Because you want to do a video for his fans the train operators give him the tickets for free and pay his travel expenses.
Good – an Internet nobody is backing a really big and important project..
Good -a complete nobody is denigrating somebody’s success, just because personally they’re not a fan. Maybe you could fund the entire repair and then others wouldn’t need to use their influence to try and actually help.
“Gets backing from” usually means financial backing. I think it’s the headline writer who needs to have a rethink, not young Francis who is merely trying to highlight the problem.
